As soon as you choose Direct Cremation by Harbour we will start to make arrangements. First we will speak to the coroner or hospital to coordinate all the legal paperwork so that the cremation can go ahead.
Then we will then book the cremation. We will let you know the date and time in advance so you can mark the occasion if you wish.
One of our professional staff will collect your loved one from any hospital or mortuary and transport them directly to our London crematorium.

When do I have to pay?
We know losing a loved one is tough enough without worrying about the financial side, so we don’t charge a deposit and you don’t have to pay anything in advance.
We will give you an exact quote and, if you agree to it, we will carry out the funeral arrangements. Typically we ask that you make the full payment within two weeks after the direct cremation has taken place.
If you receive benefits then you may be eligible for the government’s funeral expenses payment which typically covers the entire cost of our direct cremation. If you qualify, we will be paid by the government directly.
